Pat has been practicing criminal trial law for 25 years. His knowledge of the law and his experience and expertise in applying the law to the particular facts of a criminal prosecution, consistently provide his clients with the best opportunity for a favorable result. Mr. Dunn graduated from the University of Nebraska, College of Law in 1992 and was subsequently admitted to practice in federal and state courts in Nebraska. Later, he gained more professional experience through his practice in federal and state courts in Colorado. Pat’s extensive experience is also justified by his dedicated service as Former Deputy County Attorney for Hall, Platte and Douglas counties in Nebraska, Former Assistant Public Defender in Douglas County, Former Instructor of Law Enforcement Recruits at the Nebraska Law Enforcement Training Center in Grand Island, and Former Special Prosecutor in numerous grand jury inquests.
Pat has devoted the last 19 years of his career exclusively to the representation of people accused of criminal conduct. The pendency of a criminal prosecution is a difficult, stressful time in the life of the accused. One major source of stress and concern for clients is not knowing what is happening in the case and what my lawyer is doing to address the State’s allegations. At Dunn Law we understand that communication is one of the most important aspects of the attorney-client relationship. We want you to be actively involved in the defense of your case. When questions or concerns arise, be assured that Pat will make himself personally available to address those concerns promptly.
